Varsity Chrysler Speed Park is a purpose built professional karting facility that has been host to numerous major karting events including the Western Canadian Championships and the Canadian national Karting Championship. The circuit is owned and operated by the Calgary Kart Racing Club (CKRC) which organizes approximately ten regular season race events throughout the summer.
CKRC is located in SE Calgary adjacent to Race City Motorsport Park (southwest corner of Race City property). The circuit is an internationally approved and rated track measuring 1.1 km in length and 9 meters wide. There are a variety of configurations to provide continued challenge to drivers through the season. Facilities at the circuit include recently repaved the track surface and pitlane, improved safety barriers, redesigned paddock layout, and a new grandstand viewing area for spectators. Top speeds at the circuit reach over 100KPH.
