NEW FOR 2011 With our affiliation with Contour Cameras we will provide the first 12 customers registered for each program with free use of a windshield mounted onboard GPS Camera for the day!
ABRS can provide you with the opportunity to learn how to drive your road car on a racetrack, using the same proven techniques used in our Formula Car programs. Open to all licensed vehicles and to drivers of all experience levels, one week prior to your event we provide you with a safety checklist to ensure that your vehicle is ready for the track.
This half day program includes approximately one hour of classroom time covering the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and driving techniques associated with high performance driving. We follow this with on track exercises to practice these new techniques, leading to controlled lapping exercises in which you will be accompanied by our experienced ABRS instructor team, culminating in an instructor supervised open lapping session.
We provide refreshments and can provide you with an approved closed face racing helmet. Mechanical advice is from our onsite ABRS Technical Staff.
All techniques are applicable to driving on the street. After taking this program you will be a better road car driver.
Graduates of this program can participate in all of our Advanced Road Car Lapping Sessions which are usually scheduled immediately following this program.
