Allenberg racing schools' newest instructor, lincoln larson, crowned 2025 nasa champion!

Allen Berg Racing Schools is proud to introduce our newest instructor, Lincoln Larson, a rising star in motorsports who recently captured the 2025 NASA Championship in the Spec Miata division. His dramatic victory at Ozarks International Raceway not only showcased his talent but also marked a milestone in his already impressive young career.

From Karting to Champion

Lincoln’s journey to the championship has been fueled by determination and relentless effort. He spent 3.5 years in karting, developing the fundamentals of racecraft before transitioning into Spec Miata just 15 months ago. In that short time, he has competed in an extraordinary 30 NASA races, primarily in the NorCal division, with additional experience at tracks in Utah.

Along the way, Lincoln’s dedication has paid off with multiple achievements, including a victory in the NorCal Teen Mazda Challenge. These accomplishments built the foundation for his most thrilling moment yet — a national championship title.

The Championship Showdown

Nasa championship showdown 2025

At the 2025 NASA Championships at Ozarks International Raceway, Lincoln qualified in P2, setting the stage for a battle with Vaughn Weber, one of the most talented drivers in the field.

From the drop of the green flag, Lincoln played his strategy wisely — tucking in behind Weber and waiting for the perfect moment. That opportunity came when Weber dropped a wheel, and Lincoln seized the lead.

But the race was far from over. Weber mounted a fierce comeback, running side by side into the final turn. What followed was one of the most nail-biting finishes in recent NASA history: Lincoln crossed the line just 0.018 seconds ahead, clinching the championship in a breathtaking photo finish.

In his own words, Lincoln could hardly believe it until the results were official — a testament to how surreal and hard-fought the victory was.

Allen Berg

Allen Berg ranks among Canada's top racing personalities. He won the Formula Pacific Tasman Championship, won at Silverstone against Ayrton Senna and Martin Brundle in perhaps the greatest year ever in British Formula 3, and qualified for nine starts in F1, a record bettered among his countrymen only by Gilles and Jacques Villeneuve.
