LIGIER JFC

The Ligier Junior Formula Championship is the ideal learning platform for drivers 14 years and older transitioning from karting into auto racing. It is a natural transition for graduates from Allen Berg Racing Schools to embark on a test program with us in our Ligier JFC-F4 racecars, with the option to graduate into becoming drivers on our race team. ABRS graduates who are serious about pursuing a motorsports career will have the opportunity to experience a program customized specifically for their skill set and career development goals.

FIA FORMULA 4

Launched in 2014, FIA Formula 4 was created to offer young race car drivers around the world the opportunity to intelligently begin their open-wheel racing journey. This truly global formula has grown to include 11 regions globally all who operate official Championships, including the USA.

Harbir dass, solon, oh - jsf4 driver

Harbir Dass, Solon, OH - LIGIER JFC-F4 DRIVER

Harbir’s racing experience began in 2019 when he was 14 years old and started racing go-karts at his local track in Thompson, Ohio. His karting journey over the years has included the Thompson Kart Raceway series, Buckeye Karting Challenge series in Ohio, and the Stars Championships series, with multiple podiums and wins, as well as Route 66 Sprint and Daytona Manufacturer’s Cup races. His need for speed led him to attend a racing school and obtain his SCCA minor racing license before his driver’s license.

He attended additional racing school programs and participated in F4 test days. He began racing in the Mazda SMX and STL classes late in the 2023 season, where he had his first win in a regional race at Sebring. In 2024, Harbir showed excellent progress, regularly battling at the front and securing two podiums in JFC-F4 and second place in the SMX class in the Majors Championship Southeast Conference. In 2025 Harbir will be seeking his first victory in JFC-F4 and will be a contender for the 2025 Ligier JFC-F4 Drivers Championship.

Harbir is in his second year at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is studying mechanical engineering to learn how to make things go faster. He works on his BMW project car in his free time.

Andrew Szuch, St. Charles, IL - LIGIER JFC-F4 DRIVER

A new addition to Berg Racing JFC-F4 in 2025 will be sophomore driver Drew Szuch, hailing from St. Charles, Illinois. Drew began karting in 2019 at his local track in Sheridan, Illinois. He progressed on to regional and national 4-stroke karting as a privateer in the Cup Karts North America series before stepping up to cars in 2024.

In the 2024 season, Drew joined the LIGIER JFC-F4 Series with his team, Szuch Racing. He recruited student engineers from his university in Indianapolis to help in his campaign, and together, the team found success against larger competition. Drew achieved 7 top-five finishes, one pole position, and one podium in the 2024 season, breaking through to finish 3rd and 2nd on-track in the final two rounds at COTA. In 2025, Drew is eager to join a team with years of experience with the JFC-F4 chassis and support from knowledgeable driver coaches to improve his craft. He will be competing for the 2025 Driver's Championship and looking to assist Berg Racing to a Team’s Championship.
