ABRS To Invade Thunderhill CA!
November 9th, 2010 Willows, California Formula One racecar driver Allen Berg is bringing his renowned Allen Berg Racing Schools (ABRS) program to Thunderhill Raceway in Northern California on December 6th , along with a fleet of immaculately prepared, state-of-the-art Formula racecars.
California enthusiast drivers now have the chance to fulfill their need for speed and maybe also see if they have “the right stuff” to compete in motorsports.
“Northern California has long been a hot spot for motorsports, and I’m looking forward to bringing our open wheel Formula racecars to Thunderhill to help all Northern Californians to check the “drive a racecar” item off their bucket lists!” states Berg. “Individuals that are looking for the ultimate life experience or possibly that next step to getting their race driving license and even a career in the sport will find that this program is everything they’ve been looking for.
We utilize MoTeC data systems and on board cameras in all our cars to provide feedback to our students, as well as a copy of their data, video and MoTeC software at the end of the program. The only prerequisite is participants must be able to drive a manual transmission. Students are gradually and safely brought up to speed with the exclusive ABRS graduated training system, leading up to solo high speed lapping of the track by the end of the day with data debriefing sessions. Enrollment cost is $1,600.00 for the day, which includes Formula racecar, professional instruction, safety race gear and lots of track time! Graduates are given a completion certificate as well as a 4.0 GB USB drive with data, MoTeC software and video.
