ABRS Grad Parker Thompson continues dominant form in USA West Coast Karting

This last past weekend in Riverside at the Adams Motorsports Park for the second round of the Cal-State Championship was a great one.

We arrived for testing on Friday with team Tony Kart West and knew immediately we were quick. We carried that momentum on through to qualifying in the PRD Juniors as I put the Tony Kart West car on pole by a solid three tenths.

Things only got better from there as we went on to post the fastest time in KPV-2 by six tenths.

In the pre-main for the PRD it was a consistent drive to take the checker flag. In the KPV-2 it was tight at the beginning and everyone was fast. By making no mistakes we were able to pull away just enough to start on the p1 position for the main.

On the start of the PRD main I thought it would be best to not defend going into the big Monza so I went to the rubber and left the door open. A competitor stuck in beside me but by braking early I managed to criss-cross him in the big Monza and take the position right back. I managed to pull away and lead green flag to checker flag.

In the KPV-2 main again it as very tight on the start but being consistently faster than all of my competitors I took the checker flag again leading flag to flag.
