Advanced Road Car Lapping - $250 + GST (Cdn)

NEW FOR 2011 With our affiliation with Contour Cameras we will provide the first 12 customers registered for each program with free use of a windshield mounted onboard GPS Camera for the day!

This program is available to graduates of our Introductory Road Car Lapping Program as well as grads of our Formula Car programs and drivers whom have participated in similar programs elsewhere. 

These afternoon and evening sessions are typically scheduled following our Introductory Lapping Program and consist of supervised, controlled open lapping sessions, where you have the opportunity to push your car and yourself to the limit with instruction available to you at all times. 

One week prior to your event we provide you with a safety checklist to ensure that your vehicle is ready for the track. Upon arrival at the track you will sign in and (if necessary) pick up your helmet. We hold a drivers classroom briefing to cover safety protocols, passing procedures and flags. Students are divided into two groups depending on experience levels and car performance, then it’s on to the track! 

As roadcars are not designed for sustained track running, each group takes to the track in alternating 20 minute sessions, giving sufficient time for cooling of essential components (engine, transmission, brakes, tires) between sessions. During your down time you may be consulted individually or in group by our instructors providing tips and feedback on your driving. 

During these events the track is staffed by instructors and corner workers that have radio communication and flagging to ensure maximum safety standards at all times. 

We provide refreshments, and mechanical advice from our ABRS Technical Staff if necessary. 

As you get plenty of track time make sure you arrive with a full fuel tank!
